Gazprom's RAS net profit slides by 72.2% in 2022
MOSCOW, Mar 16 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian gas giant Gazprom dropped by 72.2% to 747.246 billion rubles in 2022, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Revenue grew by 24.9% to 7.979 trillion rubles. The cost of sales soared by 73.5% to 4.769 trillion rubles.
The company said that foreign partners Eni, PGNiG, Gasum and Naftogaz initiated court proceedings against Gazprom in 2022.
